Chick Herbert is senior vice president of enterprise organizational development for NCMIC Group, Inc. and its subsidiaries. Herbert, who joined NCMIC in July 2018, has nearly 30 years of experience working in the public and private sectors as an executive business leader, independent consultant, speaker and executive coach. He was most recently a senior vice president for Wells Fargo Retail Services, where he was responsible for business strategy, digital innovation, customer experience, cross-sell and merchant training. Having held extensive executive leadership roles, Herbert is the co-author of“It Begs the Question – Learn how the best managers drive performance through Question-Centric Coaching.” Herbert’s experience and expertise extend to business development, organizational and leadership development, strategy, talent planning, training, human resources, and operations. Herbert is the past board chair for Special Olympics Iowa, where he served on its board of directors for 10 years, a member of the Downtown (Des Moines) Community Alliance Board of Directors, and a leader with Iowa Women Lead Change. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University
