Business Insurance

• I am renting a booth at a trade show to promote my business. Does my liability coverage follow me offsite?

  Yes, your general liability policy or business owners' insurance will provide coverage for your temporary rented space.

• My state does not require mandatory workers' compensation insurance for my employees. Should I still have a workers' compensation policy in place?

  Yes. You still may be liable in a work-related injury for negligence and medical expenses. A workers' compensation policy will provide coverage for you and your business for both types of loss.

• What does my business income coverage on my business owners' insurance policy cover?

  This provides coverage for your loss of income due to a covered claim while your business is being repaired. This coverage may also pay for any extra expenses related to the covered claim to continue business.

Financing

• Will I be able to choose my equipment vendor?

  Yes. Professional Solutions is not affiliated with the equipment vendor you select. You negotiate the lowest price possible with your vendor and come to Professional Solutions for financing.

• Everyone always tells me to find the lowest rate possible. Is there anything else I should be concerned about before I sign my contract?

  Absolutely. Rate is only part of your financing arrangement. You should be very careful about hidden fees and unfavorable terms in a contract. There are a number of provisions often found in financing contracts that increase your overall cost, including: required security deposits, down payments, prepayment penalties and end-of-term buyouts.

• How do I request financing?

  You can quickly request financing via this short express application.

• How soon will you pay my vendor for the equipment I'm financing?

  We'll pay your vendor immediately upon receipt of final documentation and your authorization to do so. We typically send payment to your vendor electronically to help speed things up so you can take delivery of your equipment sooner.

• I'm not quite sure what type of financing I might need. How can I determine that?

  When you complete our express application, it gives us more information about you and what you may be looking for. From there, we can determine which financing option may best meet your needs.

• What if I already paid for or took delivery of the equipment before arranging financing through Professional Solutions?

• What if I want to pay off my equipment finance contract early?

  No problem. With an equipment finance loan from Professional Solutions, you can pay off your equipment finance contract, without prepayment penalty, at any time provided you are not at default of your finance contract.

• Who actually pays the vendor for the equipment I'm financing through Professional Solutions?

  Professional Solutions pays the equipment vendor you selected upon your authorization to do so.
