Earthquake Insurance Coverage
A standard homeowners insurance policy does not include coverage for earthquakes. Adding earthquake insurance can help make sure your home and personal property can be repaired, replaced or reimbursed once the dust settles.
Plan Includes
Dwelling Coverage
Covers repairs to your home and other structures on your property, including garages and swimming pools.
Personal Property Coverage
Reimbursement for the loss of your personal possessions.
Loss of Use Coverage
If damages to your home make it uninhabitable, this coverage will cover hotel expenses and other costs related to your temporary relocation.
Earthquake insurance does not cover damage due to floods, sinkholes, vehicle damage or fire. However, homeowners insurance policies may cover losses related to a fire, while cars and other vehicles can be covered under the optional comprehensive portion of an auto insurance policy.
